Founder NPSL club Sonoma Sol choose Admiral

Sonoma CA, Feb. 12, 2014 – Sonoma County Sol founding member of the NPSL, announced today that it has chosen Admiral^® to be the club’s official team uniform supplier for its inaugural 2014 season.  

The Sonoma County Sol, competes in the Western Division of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), regarded as the 4th Division of US Soccer.  The club were founder members of the NPSL and became champions in 2009.

President of Sonoma County Sol Greg Volker said. “Admiral’s the oldest soccer brand in the world and we’re one of the founding members of the NPSL.  We’ve both been around a while because we work hard to be the best at what we do so it’s a great match.  They’re making us a unique kit and helping us with retail merchandise and online sales.”  The team will unveil their new Admiral kits before the start of the 2014 season in May.  

Admiral, founded in 1914, is the world’s oldest British soccer brand and has previously supplied uniforms for the England national soccer team, West Ham United, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. The brand also has a long history in the United States, having supplied uniforms for many original NASL teams. Today, Admiral is worn by 2012 NASL champions Tampa Bay Rowdies, as well as by 2013 USL PDL Champions Austin Aztex and supplies more NSPL clubs than any other brand.
