Greater Lowell United Football Club chooses Admiral

as Official Uniform Supplier

Lowell, Mass.,  Nov. 4, 2013 – Greater Lowell United Football Club, a new organization in the National Premier Soccer League, announced today that it has chosen Admiral^® to be the club’s official team uniform supplier for its inaugural 2014 season. The team will play in the Atlantic Conference of the NPSL, the fourth tier of US soccer and one of the largest leagues in the United States. 

“Admiral is an established soccer brand, and we’re proud to partner with the company, which supplies many teams in the NPSL and other leagues across the US,” said Patrick T. Melican, co-owner of Greater Lowell United Football Club. “Admiral has real credibility in soccer and is custom making exactly what we want for our NPSL and youth teams. We are thrilled with this alliance.” Greater Lowell United will unveil the new Admiral kits prior to the 2014 season, which kicks off in April.  

Admiral, founded in 1914, is the world’s oldest British soccer brand and has previously supplied uniforms for the England national soccer team, West Ham United, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. The brand also has a long history in the United States, having supplied uniforms for the Tampa Bay Rowdies, New York Cosmos and Vancouver Whitecaps of the original North American Soccer League and many indoor teams in the Major Indoor Soccer League during the 1970s and ‘80s. Today, Admiral is the brand worn by 2012 NASL champions Tampa Bay Rowdies, as well as by 2013 United Soccer Leagues Professional Development League Champions Austin Aztex. Admiral is one of the largest brands in the, NASL, USL, NPSL, and Women’s Professional Soccer League, and with youth teams and associations throughout the US.
