JERSEY EXPRESS TO WEAR ADMIRAL SPORTSWEAR

Springfield, New Jersey – Sportswear manufacturer Admiral Sportswear has signed a new deal to become the official sportswear partner of the Jersey Express. This deal follows hot on the heals of Admiral’s agreement with other PDL clubs Kitsap Pumas and Virginia Beach Piranhas. Players wore Admiral for the first time on November 26^th during “tryouts” for the 2012 season.

Admiral, the Original British Football brand to American and England’s top teams,

in the 1970’s and 1980’s for the England football team and Manchester United, in the United States they supplied, Tampa Bay Rowdies, New York Cosmos and Vancouver Whitecaps. Today the brand is also worn by USL Pro side the Charlotte Eagles, USL PDL Champions Kitsap Pumas, Virginia Beach Piranhas and Bolivian Premier league champions Club Bolivar together with many other clubs.

“We’re delighted to follow up our recent wins with other USL Pro and PDL clubs with the Jersey Express." says Paul Hamburger, CEO of Admiral Soccer. “We’re designing and making a "made to order" customized soccer kit for the Express in our own factory.  We want to make it easier for Gali and all the team at the club to focus on developing their players and playing the game and not worry about managing their team kit.” says Hamburger.  “It’s important to give the players every advantage on the field with the latest, lightweight fabric technology…we want to be part of Jersey Express’ success on the field.”

The Express play in the USL PDL where they have made the playoffs for 3 out of the last 4 seasons, and have competed for the national championship as well the U.S. Open Cup. The Express have sent several players on to the MLS and Europe. The team have participated in 10-day trips to Portugal and Russia, were they have competed against elite clubs and have relationships with partner clubs around the world.
