Buffalo, NY – FC Buffalo will take the NPSL stage this season sporting a brand new look after signing up leading kit manufacturer Admiral Sportswear on a long standing commercial partnership. Admiral will become the club's new Technical Partner and the official supplier of all playing and training kit. This deal follows on the back of a number of; NASL, USL and NPSL clubs selecting for Admiral as their kit supplier.
Admiral, the Original British Football brand to American and England’s top teams, in the 1970’s and 1980’s for the England football team and Manchester United, in the United States they supplied, Tampa Bay Rowdies, New York Cosmos and Vancouver Whitecaps. Today the brand is also worn by the 2011 North American Soccer League (NASL) Champions Minnesota Stars, Puerto Rico Islanders also in the NASL. USL PDL Champions Kitsap Pumas are one of many PDL clubs that have switched to Admiral this season.

FC Buffalo play in the National Premier Soccer League, one of the largest leagues in the United States. The team is owned by a group of six Buffalonians aiming to provide a home for the legions of soccer fans in Western New York. The club had a contest for fans to submit a nickname and after much debate and thousands of votes cast, "Blitzers" was chosen. The vote was aided by Buffalo native and CNN broadcaster Wolf Blitzer. The Blitzers finished their 2011 campaign winning five, drawing one and losing six finishing 5th in the Keystone conference.
