Greater Lowell United FC and Admiral: Two Leaders in the Beautiful Game

Tim Melican was inspired to bring professional soccer to the city of Lowell, Massachusetts.  He was able to make this dream a reality thanks to hard work, lots of time, and the help of fellow co-owner Manny Andrade.  The end result is one of the top clubs in the New England market, Greater Lowell United FC (GLUFC).

“What drove me to help Tim with his dream was the possibility that an inner-city kid can have an opportunity to make it to the highest levels of pro soccer without spending money on high-priced academies and having to spend tens of thousands of dollars in college just to be one of many that don't get their fair shot,” Andrade said.

Everton U21’s – Manchester United U21’s

Manchester United visited Everton Football Club for a crucial Barclays Premier U21 Development League (BPDL) game on a damp and chilly night in March 2015. Both teams have an outstanding reputation for the development of successful professional players and Everton’s first team frequently feature several players who have come through their youth system. Their most notable product being the present Man United and England captain, Wayne Rooney. United’s youth system, of course, has produced the likes of David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, and the Neville brothers to mention just a few.
