Nashville FC represents one of the best soccer stories in recent memory.  A supporter-owned club experiencing success is a great storyline, but the fact that the club is here in the U.S. makes it that much more special.  Supporter-owned clubs are more commonplace in the United Kingdom with F.C. United of Manchester, AFC Rushden & Diamonds, and Ebbsfleet United each showing how the supporter-owned model can be applied in a positive way.

Admiral Sports is proud to announce a strategic partnership with four United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) teams: L.A. Wolves FC, Scorpions SC, Santa Ana Winds FC, and Del Rey City SC.

Admiral Sports is pleased to announce that they have entered into a multi-year strategic partnership with the Guyana Football Federation (GFF).

NorCal Premier’s Kevin Goff is a sports aficionado. He was a youth soccer standout with Sacramento United in addition to being a four-sport athlete in high school.  The Sacramento, CA native would play both volleyball and soccer in college, winning a national championship in volleyball at William Woods University.  He would enter the sports world with a degree in Communications/Public Relations.  His journey has taken him from Las Vegas (NV) and Missouri to New Jersey and Orange County (CA) before landing in the soccer stronghold of Northern California.  

I have learned that soccer players go through a similar process when learning a technique. Whether driving in the UK or learning the techniques of soccer there are four developmental phases which will need to be tackled. Let’s stick with soccer and forget the driving thing for the moment;

Tim Melican was inspired to bring professional soccer to the city of Lowell, Massachusetts.  He was able to make this dream a reality thanks to hard work, lots of time, and the help of fellow co-owner Manny Andrade.  The end result is one of the top clubs in the New England market, Greater Lowell United FC (GLUFC). 

“What drove me to help Tim with his dream was the possibility that an inner-city kid can have an opportunity to make it to the highest levels of pro soccer without spending money on high-priced academies and having to spend tens of thousands of dollars in college just to be one of many that don't get their fair shot,” Andrade said.
