Money will be raised by three main initiatives:
1. On September 29th at Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium, Bayamon, Puerto Rico in the playoff quarter final; the Puerto Rico Islanders soccer team will wear pink jerseys. These jerseys will be raffled at halftime and at the end of the game. All proceeds will be divided equally between the two foundations.
2. Dinner / Drinks Auction: Enjoy appetizers and drinks at one of San Juan’s top restaurants, where signed jerseys from PremierLeague and MLS players will be auctioned and a percentage of all food and drinks purchased along with the tickets will go to the foundations.
3. Online donations page - Persons globally can donate to the cause by clicking on the "donate" button on this page.
As professional athletes we are very privileged and blessed. We feel it’s our duty to give back and taking the time to work with charities is a responsibility that comes with the occupation that we very much enjoy and embrace. We hope that through raising money for the organizations that they can further educate and develop ways to bring attention and awareness to their causes.
Our initiative's aim is to raise $7,000 to divide between these two organizations.
We understand that it may be hard to give in these difficult economic times, however we must consider others less fortunate than ourselves.
