Rochester, New York – Rochester Rhinos have chosen Admiral® to be the club’s official sportswear and technical kit supplier for the 2013 season. Founded in 1996, the team plays in the USL Professional Division and is considered one of the most successful franchises in North America having won league championships in 1998, 2000 and 2001, and is still the only team to have defeated four MLS teams en route to winning the Lamar Open Cup in 1999.
Admiral, the world’s oldest British football brand, supplied kits in the 1970s and 1980s for the English national team and Manchester United. The brand has a long history in the United States as well, having supplied kits for the Tampa Bay Rowdies, New York Cosmos, Rochester Lancers and Vancouver Whitecaps in the original North American Soccer League (NASL).
