ST LOUIS, MO – Tony Glavin Soccer Club a Celtic FC Affiliate and St. Louis Lions of the USL PDL today announced a multi-year exclusive apparel and equipment partnership with Admiral® the world’s oldest soccer brand. Admiral® will be the official sportswear supplier of the club, supplying all the club’s teams at senior and youth level with technical kit, balls, sportswear and accessories.
Admiral, the world’s oldest British soccer brand, supplied kits to England, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham and Glasgow Rangers amongst others. The brand has a long history in the United States having supplied kits for; the Tampa Bay Rowdies, New York Cosmos and others. Today the brand is worn by more than 60 professional teams including the 2011 & 2012 NASL Champions and the 2001 & 2013 USL PDL champions. It’s also the leading brand to teams in the; NASL, USL, NPSL, MISL, PASL and in US Youth Soccer.

Tony Glavin started his career at Partick Thistle in Glasgow, Scotland he went on to Queens Park FC. In 1978 he came to the US to play for the Philadelphia Fury, an NASL club who wore Admiral at the time. Tony, nick-named “Pocket Rocket” went on to St Louis to play for the St Louis Steamers of the MISL. After a successful playing career, Tony moved in to management and in 1994 set up Tony Glavin Soccer. The club has it’s own 19 acre training facility with outdoor and indoor pitches that host the USL team, St Louis Lions and the Tony Glavin Soccer Club youth teams.
The club’s new kits will be launched in time for the USL PDL season in May.
