Charleston, South Carolina
On behalf of Tourbeau Sports Group, we are happy to announce the official promotion for the 2013 Fall Men’s Soccer Season and “Tourbeau’s National Men’s Soccer Game of the Week Broadcast presented by NSCAA and Admiral Soccer”.
The twelve-game broadcast schedule highlights teams from twelve (12) different NAIA conferences and every program nationally ranked in the Top 25 national polls or receiving votes from many past NAIA powerhouses. The schedule includes conference season winners, conference titles, national tournament invitees and each of four final teams in the 2012 National Championship.
The initiative, inspired and produced by Tourbeau Sports, is the desire of the company to help develop, market and progress the programs, schools, players and the NAIA through a national online broadcast platform to increase and maximize the quality and standard by these parties.
The national broadcast productions will include a full on-site professional staff at each venue, each week throughout the fall including multiple camera angles, multiple commentators and producers. A staff of editors will also be available off location to produce highlights and full game footage to local tv stations to colleges, as well as a possibility to provide programming for national tape-delayed broadcasts to national soccer television channels, in which TSG is currently working to promote.
It is the desire of Tourbeau Sports to provide a professional broadcast, above and beyond the normal ‘school-produced’ broadcast to show the quality of the league and its talent, but also give each program’s staff a chance to sit back and enjoy the game, as well as put their energy in other resources such as marketing the game to the local community and college campus.
Our group has been fortunate enough to be the official video production company of the NAIA Men’s Soccer National Tournament since 2008, and have been the go-to resource for identifying talent and highlights for NAIA players.
As a result, TSG also established the Tourbeau Pro Soccer Combine. The event allows for a select group of NAIA top players to attend the combine showcase to show off their talent in front of professional teams and scouts in a week-long environment. In its first two years, the event has been attended by over 130+ players, with 33 current players signing a professional or professional-development contract as a result of the service.
As for this opportunity, this broadcast programming project encapsulates another piece to the always-growing puzzle for TSG with NAIA Men’s Soccer and its desire to see players and programs be identified and recognized for their talent and commitment to the game.
Averaging over 8,000 hits for live and archived games per a broadcast, Tourbeau Sport expects over 100,000 hits within the Fall Season and beyond. The twelve-game broadcast schedule will kick-off on August 22 in Columbia, Kentucky as nine-time NAIA Men’s Soccer Champion, Lindsey Wilson College, hosts Crossroads League champion from 2012, Spring Arbor University.
The final match of the schedule will end on the outskirts of the Upstate of South Carolina when #22 Southern Wesleyan hosts #8 Southern Poly in a I-85 battle on November 2nd.
